Sekisui House’s West Village mixed-use, master planned heritage community in Brisbane has been named winner of the 2022 Urban Land Institute’s Asia Pacific Awards for Excellence.
Recognising projects that demonstrate excellence and innovation in land use practice in the Asia Pacific region, West Village is one of only 5 Australian projects within the thirteen overall winners.
The dilapidated remains of the West Village site have now been redeveloped into a high-density, lifestyle-driven village that is centred around the reinstated factories, featuring eight residential towers, three commercial office buildings, an 18,446 square meter retail and dining precinct, and two park areas.
