Acclaimed architect and an astute business leader, Charles Justin was appointed as a Member (AM) of the Order of Australia (General Division) for significant service to the museums sector, to arts administration and to architecture in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
Charles designed significant houses, later migrating to large scale commercial and multi-residential buildings. He is a respected authority amongst his peers who has made an incredible impact to Australia’s built environment.
Founding Plus Architecture in 1997 as an offshoot of Nation Fender Katsalidis and SJB Architects, Charles was instrumental in forming and then mentoring the future leaders of Plus Architecture.
Plus Director Ian Briggs said Charles has always been committed to the promotion and development of new and emerging architects, giving practical and commercial advice to all.
“Charles is a valued mentor, adroit business advisor and a true friend to those around him” he said.
Plus Architecture congratulates Charles on this well-deserved recognition.
