Set to become a cornerstone of student life in Moreton Bay
Our purpose-built student accommodation at Old Dayboro Road embodies modernity and sophistication. Located in a dynamic hub north of Brisbane, it supports the growing University of the Sunshine Coast's Moreton Bay campus, which expects to host 10,000 students by 2035.
Chrisney Formosa, Principal at Plus Architecture, says, "Our design blends functionality with a vibrant community spirit, inspiring and engaging its residents. Inspired by the local cultural and educational context, we have crafted a design that blends iconic elements with contextual significance.”
This 203-bed student accommodation offers state-of-the-art facilities, including entertainment spaces and modern amenities that ensure comfort and convenience. Our project will reinforce the existing student hub, fostering collaboration and creativity while promoting a balanced, healthy lifestyle. The building's engaging street frontage connects seamlessly with the wider community, and its responsive form harmonises with the environment. Green spaces throughout enhance both the city and residents' well-being.
We have selected an architecture materials palette featuring green coloured concrete, light warm-coloured brick and metal, clear and tinted glazing with dark mullions, and matte green façade panels.
