Merrifield, Victoria’s largest mixed-use master planned city has been designed around several key principles: sustainability, liveability, and self-sufficiency.

Situated just 30 kilometres north of Melbourne’s CBD, Merrifield represents a new direction for Melbourne’s expanding satellite cities, creating the perfect blend of residential, employment, retail, leisure and community facilities, which will allow residents to live, work and relax within their community.

Merrifield is carefully crafted into three portions; a residential precinct, a business park and a city centre featuring a mix of community, commercial, retail and residential uses.

Plus has also been commissioned to master plan the city centre. Within the city will be a number of civic squares and community infrastructure buildings such as a community centre, health care centres, childcare and emergency services, together with other amenities that shape an emerging community.

One of the driving themes is for a ‘healthy city’, one that can be explored by foot, bicycle and public transport.
