The masterplan encompasses 96 Independent Living Apartments, which provide residents with a sense of autonomy and privacy within a supportive community setting. These apartments are designed to offer comfort, functionality, and accessibility, ensuring a high quality of life for the retirees.
The Aged Care facility within the community comprises 144 beds, accommodating those who require specialised care and assistance. This facility prioritises the well-being and dignity of its residents, with spaces that promote comfort, ease of movement, and a nurturing atmosphere. It is designed to foster a sense of community and social engagement while meeting the unique healthcare needs of the ageing population.
At the heart of the Lutanda Manor Retirement Living Community lies a spacious Community Centre spanning over 850 square metres. This vibrant hub serves as a gathering place for residents, fostering social interactions, and offering a diverse range of amenities and activities.
It is designed to encourage a sense of belonging, connection, and well-being for all community members. The community centre also serves as a space for events, educational programs, and recreational activities, enriching the lives of the residents.
Courtyards are an integral part of the masterplan, providing green and serene outdoor spaces for relaxation, reflection, and socialisation. These well-designed courtyards offer a respite from the built environment, creating pockets of tranquillity amidst the bustling community. The careful integration of nature into the architectural design promotes a sense of calm and rejuvenation.
Overall, the architectural design of the Lutanda Manor Retirement Living Community aims to create a harmonious and nurturing environment that celebrates the diverse needs and aspirations of its residents.
By offering a variety of residential options, well-planned courtyards, and a vibrant community centre, the design seeks to enhance the overall quality of life for the ageing population, fostering a sense of belonging, engagement, and well-being.
