Plus have created a sleek, monochromatic workspace that not only reflects the client’s practical needs and aesthetic sensibilities, but also aligns with their branding and corporate image, carving out nine spaces within a limited footprint of 135sqm.

Polished in its presentation, the fitout exudes industrial sophistication with a refined, monochromatic palette featuring ribbed glass, natural stone, metal and leather. Sleek metal framing defines the internal windows, while the curvature of the walls and tobacco coloured leather provide textural relief. The height of differentiation and personality is achieved with a feature reception desk that presides over the entrance. Appearing as though carved from a large block of stone, the statement piece introduces a sculptural element and sets the tone for the wider office.

A rigid structure, compromised by the existing surfaces of a surrounding car park, the site became an exercise in floorplan optimisation. Educated in its allocation of space and arrangement of furnishing, the design demonstrated intuitive spatial awareness and restraint.

The design composition is resolute and effortless with the end-user brought to the fore. As a result, the space flows organically, achieving a fine balance between private and functional workspaces across the open plan space.
