A finely crafted combination of open spaces, modern materials and bespoke details set against breathtaking views of the coastline and hinterland.
Designed with the locality in mind, Dawn by Mosaic is a collection of 85 beachside apartments on the Gold Coast’s Mermaid Beach that respect and enhance their coastal backdrop.
Timeless and understated, a subtle reference to the rhythmic ocean waves nearby, smooth soaring profiles form the elegant façade. The solid architectural forms and sensorially-orientated material palette is reminiscent of the coastal landscape and off-white sand. Given the beachfront location, large, vertical glass planes mimic the clear ocean waves below and provide an opportunity to take advantage of the vibrant ocean views and natural light.
Incorporating basic design principles, inside, the clever design of the building presents very efficient floor plates which maximise passive climate control. The design capitalises on cross ventilation and natural light. The heavily landscaped podium is a nod to the hinterland landscape.
Dawn is targeted towards downsizers, empty nesters and the young and aspirational. As such, luxury finishes and high-quality communal amenities, including a resort pool, sun deck, spa and dedicated surf storage, offer an unparalleled standard of coastal living. One of the main selling points for the building was the provision of uninterrupted beach views from every home.
A testament to the considered multi-residential design response and exceptional design quality, Dawn, unsurprisingly, was very popular. Over 95% of the residences were sold within two weeks and due to the strong sales, the construction of Dawn by Mosaic was fast-tracked.
