A luxury backpackers for the digital nomads of today’s modern world.
This eight storey hotel and commercial development is located at one of Australia’s best beachfront destinations and just 14km from central Perth.
Cotel Scarborough will brighten up West Coast Hwy and draw a diverse style of travellers into the area whilst also providing amenities to the local community. The State Government and City of Stirling are in the process of restoring the area’s former glory, creating a vibrant hub of activity with new restaurants, cafes, shops and entertainment, with a range of events and activities for families and people of all ages.
The building will have commercial tenancies in the three-storey podium, with a car park on the ground floor, and innovative style of accommodation in the five levels above. A highly sustainable building using hybrid timber construction splashed with a vibrant pink meeting the art deco history of Scarborough with a modern digital heart.
Fostered in the idea of the global digital community, hotel guests will enjoy affordable accommodation in a state-of-the-art building with a view of the Indian ocean, a quiet co-working space, an e-sports gaming arena, and a sports bar-style restaurant. Indeed, a place to work, rest and play.
With a focus on incorporating cutting edge technology and adapting to the modern world, the hotel provides guests with all the facilities and fun that they would want and need all in one place. Level 1 guests will have access to the quiet co-working facilities, with an occupancy of 50 people. This space is perfect for guests to work and collaborate. Level 1 will also be home to an open Co-working and E-gaming arena, with a capacity of 300 people, creating a perfect space to relax and have fun with friends.
After a lengthy community engagement and feedback process, the development received town planning approval due to design excellence and a forward-thinking approach.
