Plus Architecture in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects, delivered an outstanding design response for a competition held by client Dexus to deliver a multi-storey, mixed use tower located in a prime position adjacent to Sydney’s Hyde Park.

The proposed tower was designed to take full advantage of the outstanding harbour views, featuring ground floor retail and a hotel in the podium which then transitions to residential apartments in the 54-storey tower.

The fluent form transition of the podium to tower creates a unique urban gesture which embraces and draws both park and people into the dynamic city centre. The surrounding landscape extends into the building design with extensions to slab edges forming an undulating wave and accommodating regions for planting.
