Tooronga Village represents an opportunity to both revitalise a challenging site while setting new standards in urban design and master planning.

This master plan project involved the rezoning of this complex site and developing a master plan that includes a shopping centre with speciality shops, restaurants and strata offices across two main frontages. There are approximately 600 dwellings including apartments in a number of buildings, townhouses and residences all set in a landscaped context representing the best in public amenity, urban fit and built form expression.

A sustainability framework was established to outline principles and targets to minimise the environmental impact of the project. Measures included achieving potable water savings, reduce wastewater discharges, reduce stormwater pollution and improve the recreational and visual amenity.
