Sun. Spritz. Snack. Repeat.

The design brief for Isoletto Pool Club + Privé called for a spectacular new poolside venue and event space that took cues from the Gold Coast’s vibrant and sparkling skyline, local spirit and island getaways.

Plus Architecture was asked to create a space that was beautiful, bright and airy that created the ultimate setting for guests to experience a full-holiday lifestyle.

Offering a stunning, island-inspired poolside and dining experience, the Pool Club and Privé deliver an ideal spot for guests to enjoy the Gold Coast atmosphere.

Taking inspiration from natural beauty which marries a neutral palette with pops of bright lemon and melon, the Pool Club both unwinds and refreshes - carefully curated to blur the lines between indoor and outdoor. Subtle injections of sun rays and a front-row view of the impressive pool add to the experience reminiscent of the venue’s coastal paradise.

Exclusive to all hotel guests across The Star’s resort accommodation offerings, the Pool Club features a stunning pool designed by Urbis and furniture, fixtures and equipment selected by Plus Architecture, with an impressive 12m long viewing wall overlooking Broadbeach. Plenty of elegant yet comfortable cabanas around the pool deck as well as ‘ledge-loungers’ are built into the pool itself.

The accompanying restaurant and bar designed by Plus Architecture feature both indoor and outdoor seating, allowing guests to bask in the warmth of the sun or to escape into a shady spot to take in the oceans’ breeze.

The Privé events space exuberates a sense of luxury and sophistication. The space was designed to cater to various events whether it be a social, meeting, conference or exhibition event. The palette is neutral in colour to allow the users to add their own personal touches.

The base palette was inspired by the sun’s warm glow and honey-brown skin of those on the Gold Coast.
